OneHearts mission to help those in need with housing services, job stability [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – OneHeart is a non-profit organization in Rapid City with a housing and transitional facility campus that seeks to aid those in need by providing transitional housing and co-locating various services from addiction and mental health counseling to life skills and job training.

Through partner engagement and community donations, they are able to operate a campus that helps over 150 adults and children. Their goal is to provide a secure area for them while they get back on their feet.

They are also working to create a systemic shift in how the Rapid City community addresses poverty and housing insecurity. The goal for OneHeart is to stabilize lives while boosting the local workforce. The goal for guests is that they have permanent housing and steady employment when they leave the campus.
