CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The Cedar Rapids Community School District is telling parents it should have shared information about the district’s new pathways structure sooner.
The new education model will have high school students choose career pathways and take one specialized class on that career track each semester.
Cedar Rapids Community School District superintendent Tawana Grover said the district is working on getting parents more informed and involved.
“I am baffled in some ways in regards to all of the confusion. I definitely want us to make sure that we take every opportunity to answer every question because that was not our intent,” Grover said.
