Omaha police investigating fatal hit-and-run Saturday [Video]

Omaha police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that occurred early Saturday.

A car was traveling northbound on 24th Street near Decatur Street when a pedestrian was struck while crossing from east to west, authorities said.

The driver of the car did not stop.

The pedestrian, 19-year-old Danayjha Britt, was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
