OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Members of the North 24th Street Business Improvement District are concerned about something that’s not an improvement to the neighborhood.
There’s a stain that’s causing concern for a couple reasons.
For some time, the Martin Luther King Jr. Cornerstone Memorial on 24th and Lake showed signs of its age, but the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance fixed the problem.
Now, the memorial is rebuilt.
It’s brand-new, but now something is spoiling the view.
There’s a grease stain on the sidewalk, close to North Omaha’s centerpiece.
People First Alert 6 talked to believe this big grease stain came from someone who set up an outdoor kitchen on the corner to sell food.
