Ohio Highway Patrol: 2 men seriously injured in Erie County crash [Video]

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says two men suffered serious injuries as a result of a crash between two large trucks Friday afternoon in Erie County.

According to a press release, the incident occurred at the intersection of Mason Road East and Hoover Road in Milan Township just after 12:45 p.m. Authorities say a Mack truck headed south on Hoover failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck on the right side by a dump truck headed east on Mason. The Mack truck then went off the road and slammed into a tree, while the dump truck flipped over and hit a utility pole.

Per officials, the driver of the Mack truck was a 57-year-old man from Parma. Despite wearing a seat belt, he sustained “incapacitating injuries.” His …
