The Georgia Bureau of Investigations said Herman Sewell and his daughter Allegra Sewell got into a fight on Thursday that eventually ended in the daughter’s death.
The GBI says Pulaski County Sheriff deputies responded to the scene on Ruby Road at around 5:15 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to the press release, Herman Sewell, 67, and Allegra Sewell, 26 — both from Cleveland, Ohio — had got into an argument. Eventually, they say the argument got physical and at some point, Allegra became unresponsive.
Allegra was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Her father was identified on the scene and was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter.
A deputy Clark spoke with told him that Herman claims Allegra hit him first before he hit her.
It is not fully clear why the father and daughter were in Hawkinsville and what injuries led to Allegra’s death. Clark says …
