COLUMBUS, Ohio (WJW) – Early voting begins next week in Ohio.
Tuesday, the Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose issued reminders for voters.

“With one week until the start of early voting, I can confidently say that we are prepared for voters to begin heading to their early voting centers and receiving their requested absentee ballots,” he said in a press release. “Tedious preparation is the key to executing any successful election, and Ohioans can have confidence that no matter which of Ohio’s three convenient methods of voting they choose, their vote will be secure.”
For voters who have requested absentee ballots, local boards of elections will begin mailing them on Oct. 8.
Ohio minimum wage set to increase
Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 4 and received by the respective board of elections no later than four days after Election Day.
