Ohio AG: Former Milford city manager charged with importuning [Video]

DAYTON, Ohio (WXIX) – A former city official is a suspect in what was an undercover investigation by the Miami Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

Many unanswered questions remained after Milford City Manager Michael Doss abruptly resigned last week due to “personal reasons.”

On Monday, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced that Doss is being charged with one count of importuning.

According to a press release, Miami Valley investigators believe Doss allegedly tried to purchase sex from an individual he believed was a 15-year-old girl.

“Doss recently resigned as Milford’s city manager after he was confronted about the allegations,” the press release says.

Details are limited as of now, but the attorney general’s office expects additional charges will be filed in the case.

Doss is not listed in the Montgomery County Jail.
