With talk of The Office getting a re-reboot, because original content is hard, Showmax has announced that together with BBC Studios, it will be working to adapt the sitcom for the local audience. The production will air on both Showmax and kykNET.
The mockumentary style sitcom originated in the UK but it found its success in the US thanks to the performances of Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski and Rainn Wilson.
This local adaptation will be produced by Rapid Blue, one of BBC Studios’ international production companies.
