AUGUSTA — On Saturday, New England’s Odd and Unusual Show returned to the Augusta Civic Center for Labor Day Weekend.
Around 100 vendors showed up to offer their “oddities”, from taxidermy to jewelry to vintage clothing, and much, much more.
“The energy of getting to talk to the customers, and seeing, like, their face light up when they find something they love, this is, my absolute passion is doing something like this,” shared Alexx Arey, owner of Agothecary Art.
More parts of New England will be able to experience the event soon.
“Next year they’re actually expanding and going to three different states, three different cities, and it will turn into the New England Odd and Unusual Show instead of just the Maine Odd and Unusual Show,” explained Savannah Saccarelli, owner of Muh.Kaa.Bruh.
The event goes beyond crafts and trinkets, with opportunities to meet — and pet — exotic animals.
