The second tornado was a few minutes later near Alta. The twister began on West Club Road near Route 91 damaging several trees. It progressed to Trail View Estates where additional tree damage occurred. The Alta tornado was also rated an EF-0 with 85 mile per hour winds.
The Weather Service also confirms that Monday night storms were part of a Derecho which is long lasting wind event.
