Virginia police have arrested a former nurse in connection to a terrifying incident that left multiple newborn babies with “unexplained fractures” in a hospital.
Authorities charged Erin Elizabeth Ann Strotman, 26, with malicious wounding and felony child abuse.
“Henrico Police has arrested and charged a Chesterfield County woman in connection to an ongoing investigation involving a Henrico Doctors’ Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU),” Henrico County Police stated in a press release.
“Currently, the Henrico County Police Division is utilizing all available resources to ensure a thoroughinvestigation into this matter. This involves reviewing dozens of videos from inside the NICU. As previously mentioned, detectives are re-examining the 2023 and 2024 cases as part of this broader investigation,” it added.
