WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – Here’s a look at the 7 big events happening this weekend in Wisconsin.

Saturday night is the final evening for Blossom of Lights at Monk Botanical Gardens in Wausau. It’s open Friday and Saturday from 6:30-8:30 pm. And Friday there’s a special trick-or-treating event for kids. Tickets are available online or in person. Adult tickets are $12.

Performances of Matilda the Musical begin Friday at the Sentry Theater in Stevens Point. Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater will share the story of an extraordinary little girl who takes matters into her own hands. Adult tickets are $20.

A wildly unique event is happening Saturday in Beaver Dam. The third annual casket races feature teams in costumes competing in a 100-yard race. The winning team takes home $1,000.
