MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WIAT) — Several democratic delegates are back in Alabama after spending this week in Chicago at the Democratic National Convention.
With both conventions having passed, Republicans and Democrats say there are striking differences between party conventions.
“I think one of the things that you did not see, if you contrast and compare the two, the diversity, it was not at the RNC. It was at the DNC,” said State Rep. Barbara Drummond (D-Mobile).
“In contrast to the Republican Convention, they were saying about the different things they needed to do to get the economy back on track and get the nation moving forward,” State Sen. Keith Kelley (R-Anniston) said. “The vice president’s been in office for four years.”
