TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Northeastern State University’s (NSU) online nursing program gives students the ability to advance professionally while working full time.
The program offers both an undergraduate RN to BSN program and a Master of Science in Nursing degree.
The nursing program, housed under the Gregg Wadley College of Science and Health Professions, provides students with a curriculum designed to build on their previous education and experience.
Graduates are prepared to provide primary healthcare in diverse settings; to provide education to individuals, families and community groups; and to continue lifelong learning.
“The nursing program benefits the regional and national need for bachelor’s and master’s prepared nurses,” Dr. Heather Fenton, Director of Nursing Programs at NSU, said. “The nursing program brings highly qualified nurse educators, both full-time and adjunct, to the college of science and health professions. The three full-time faculty have over 60 years combined experiences as registered nurses.”
