BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Northeastern State University (NSU) is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its first homecoming with a week of events and activities from Oct. 21-26.
This year’s theme is “Forever Green” to celebrate as the NSU community reflects on the past 100 years of homecoming.
The celebration began Monday with the “Green Til I Dye” parties on both the Broken Arrow and the Tahlequah campus.
NSU-Broken Arrow’s fountain dyeing ceremony took place at 11 a.m. while the Tahlequah campus will host theirs at 5:15 p.m.
The week is filled with many activities for students, alumni, and the community.
“Having a celebration of everything that is good about NSU is really a fantastic thing to do,” said NSU President Rodney Hanley. “It’s something that we really take pride in.”
