Northeast Ohio Monday weather forecast: sunny and pleasant [Video]

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A basically ideal summer day is in the forecast for Monday for Northeast Ohio, with highs in the upper 70s and sunny skies. Clouds will arrive overnight and there is a slight chance of showers, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service. Temperatures will drop to the low 60s.

Tuesday is expected to be mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s, but there is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Both Wednesday and Thursday will be sunny, with highs reaching the mid-80s by Thursday. There is a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday and Saturday and highs again will be in the mid-80s. Highs will drop back to the upper 70s on Sunday and good chances of showers and thunderstorms remain.

Cleveland will lose two minutes and 23 seconds of daylight on Monday.
