North Texas Giving Day in support of non-profits Sep 19 [Video]

‘North Texas Giving Day’ is the largest regional fundraiser in the nation and is happening this week.

The event, which encourages people to support their favorite non-profits, is marking its 16th year. Grants from the “Communities Foundation of Texas” have helped the fundraiser grow, says the group’s Calvert Collins-Bratton.

“Since it began, North Texas Giving Day has raised more than $500 million all of that here in our backyard. That is tremendous impact from millions of North Texans who have so generously given over the years.”

On September 19, every single dollar that is given on “North Texas Giving Day” will go directly to the non-profits. The event supports more than 3,000 non-profits in North Texas.
