COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – North Idaho College (NIC), which has been argued that it has earned a reduced sanction this week.
NIC submitted a special report to the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities on Friday, and argued that the college has made improvements that call for a reduced sanction.
“The dedicated faculty, staff, and students of North Idaho College have shown just how resilient they are in innumerable ways,” the report asserted.
The college pointed to more productive board meetings, increasing enrollment and the dedication of the campus community.
NIC leadership began to fall apart in 2021 .
