North Carolina Lt. Governor Mark Robinson to speak at conservative gala Tuesday [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A conservative grassroots organization is holding its Victory Gala Tuesday at The District.

Amongst those speaking is North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, who has been linked to recent controversy including a CNN Report claiming he made racist and sexually explicit comments on a pornographic website.

The Republican gubernatorial candidate allegedly called himself a “black Nazi,” and it has made a lot of headlines over the last few weeks.

His presence at the event in Sioux Falls doesn’t sit well with some in the community.

Robinson has gotten a legal team involved regarding CNN’s allegations, but he’s been on record with other controversial statements regarding the LGBTQ community, antisemitism, and that black Americans owe money to those who fought for them to gain their rights.

“Those type of comments are not just harmful, they lead to harmful policies that harm our communities in general,” said Sioux Falls community activist Julian Beaudion.
