Nonprofit struggles to fund search for missing Mason City news anchor [Video]

(KTTC) – The nonprofit FindJodi, Inc. is dedicated to bringing home missing former Mason City morning news anchor Jodi Huisentruit and is now seeking the community’s help with funding.

On Friday, the nonprofit posted to FindJodi.com that funds are critically low to keep the search efforts going for Huisentruit.

FindJodi is run 100% on donations and said donations will go directly to costs associated with its public awareness campaign like the billboard in Mason City.

The funding also helps support other costs like court record fees, travel and website maintenance.

Huisentruit went missing in 1995 while on her way to work at KIMT in Mason City.

She has not been seen or heard from since.
