No safe place: People of Sudan dying from neglect [Video]

Eatizaz Yousif, herself displaced because of Sudan’s civil war, says there is “no safe place in Sudan” because fighting has spread through the entire country. Yousif says that the country’s capital, Khartoum, being the epicenter of fighting means a weakened and decentralized government. As a result, health and education services have completely collapsed and half of the country’s population is at risk of acute hunger, according to the World Food Programme.Nov. 30, 2024
