No arrests were made as officers arrived at the tail end of a street takeover in Mission Hills, where witnesses said at least 200 people were in attendance in the midst of fireworks and vehicles performing “donuts” and “turnouts,” authorities said Friday.

Officers were dispatched about 10:30 p.m. Thursday to Devonshire Street and Woodman Avenue, near Devonwood Park, amid reports of “fireworks and cars doing `donuts,”‘ the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relation Division reported. No arrests were made.

KTLA5 reported that a pickup truck lost a wheel while in the process of doing a “turnout,” but kept going, causing sparks to fly in the process. The station also reported that those in attendance were seen pointing lasers and shooting off fireworks.
