CINCINNATI (WXIX) -A nonprofit organization in Covington is asking the public to help provide gifts for at least 1,500 children this holiday season.
Be Concerned People’s Pantry, located at 1100 W. Pike St., is in need of toys for children ages 5 to 10 and gifts for teenagers, including electronics, beauty products, and $20 gift cards, according to Executive Director Andy Brunsman.
Brunsman points out that the organization, founded in 1968, has always served as a food pantry while also responding to needs that go beyond food. Throughout the years, it has expanded to include a thrift store and a Christmas store. He mentions that the demand for the Christmas store keeps increasing.
