About the course
The programme focuses on environmental issues and the human impact on ecosystems. You will learn practical skills in data collection, surveying and sampling methods, restoration and conservation. This one-year full-time (or equivalent part-time) qualification is made up of eight courses worth 15 credits each.
The diploma is the equivalent of the 1st Year of a Bachelor of Applied Science. WITT will introduce the Level 6 Diploma in Environmental Management in 2024, after which WITT has arrangements for those students who want to continue study for an environmental science degree.
