New York City ranks among the safest cities in the country when it comes to gun violence, according to researchers at New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering.
Other research shows mass shootings and murders involving firearms have risen steadily over the last decade, according to the Gun Violence Archive. Karina Mitchell looks at what New York is doing right, and if there are lessons for other cities around the country to emulate.
