New Sheetz location opens in northwest Ohio [Video]

LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — Sheetz opened another northwest Ohio location on Monday, the second of eight total planned in the Toledo area. 

The latest of the convenience store’s locations opened at 9 a.m. at 6633 Dorr St. in Springfield Township. The opening comes less than a month after Sheetz opened its first Toledo-area store, which opened in Maumee on Sept. 10

In a press release, Sheetz said the Springfield Township location will employ approximately 30 people, and will be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

Sheetz said they donated $2,500 to Special Olympics of Ohio and the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank during the grand opening ceremony.
