RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The Pennington County Treasurer’s Office introduced a new queuing system designed to reduce wait times and provide more efficient service.
The new system allows people to pre-register online or in the lobby with the receptionist, to manage their time better while waiting for service.
It also helps staff manage customer flow by separating quick transactions from more complex ones.
Although this new technology is one community members will have to get used to, Pennington County Treasurer Annette Brant believes it will improve the overall customer experience.
”This queueing system allows them to get checked in and have a single seat instead of having to stand in line and move down in front of that hot window that we all know so well,” Brant said.
