KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A new collaborative program between two Kansas City educational institutes is set to put more healthcare professionals in the field quickly.
Rockhurst University has announced that a new partnership with KCU is set to launch in the fall of 2025 to allow up to 40 students to be chosen for the new ROKC-EAP program.
Program directors said that 25 students will be dedicated to the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program, 10 for the Doctor of Dental Medicine program and 5 for the Master of Health Science -Anesthesiologist Assistant program.
University leaders indicated that students will start their undergraduate studies at Ruckhurst and when their degree is complete will transition into their KCU graduate program.
Education officials noted that the partnership is meant to increase the number of qualified healthcare professionals in the community and provide clear pathways to careers. The program is also expected to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions.
