OROVILLE, Calif. – A local effort launched on Monday to help keep kids on the right track.

At the Oroville Southside Community Center, youth now have a safe space to learn and thrive in the community.

The Oroville Southside Community Improvement Association and the Oroville Elementary School District have collaborated to bring a new youth intervention program. The program will help kids thrive in academic excellence, fitness, nutrition and leadership.
