New Orleans knows a thing or two, or 10, about hosting a Super Bowl, with several already under our belt, but leaders say bringing it back took some extra huddles.
NEW ORLEANS — Monday morning, Superbowl LIX got a New Orleans welcome with a brass band kicking off the kick-off. After Monday’s official welcome press conference, it’s clear the city, the teams, and the NFL are ready for the big matchup.
“I’m sure Super Bowl 59 will go down in history as one of the greatest games ever played in the greatest Super Bowl week ever,” Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser said.
