New Orleans terror attack: Louisiana lawmakers react [Video]

A terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in the New Orleans French Quarter has state and local lawmakers reeling. At least 15 people are dead and 35 others hurt after a car plowed into a crowd at Bourbon and Iberville Streets in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.Sources say the suspect in the attack has been killed, possibly by a New Orleans police officer.It happened around 3:15 a.m. toward the end of New Year’s celebrations in New Orleans and hours before the kickoff of the AllState Bowl, a college football quarterfinal held in the city’s Caesars Superdome, with thousands expected to be in attendance.The FBI has taken over the investigation and has called it an act of terrorism.
