New Orleans residents say Marigny bar crowds pose risk to others [Video]

Residents living in the Marigny as well as one New Orleans councilman are demanding change after they say their neighborhood has been plagued by late night parties, gunfire and drag racing. People living in the area are concerned that someone could get killed in their neighborhood.According to New Orleans City Councilman Freddie King, crowds are forming outside two bars, Iggy’s on North Rampart Street and The John on Burgundy Street. “It is life or death,” King said. “We want to get the attention of the city and law enforcement we need help here.
