New Orleans communities reflect on a year since Oct 7th attack [Video]

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas continues to impact families in New Orleans one year after the Oct 7 attack. On the eve of the one-year anniversary, the Jewish Federation of New Orleans held an evening of remembrance and resilience. The CEO of the federation, Robert French, lives in fear for his brother living in Israel. “It is very shocking to us that we are still in this position,” French said. “We want the community to come together and understand that as people, we’re hurting, we’re reeling, it’s been a very, very painful year for us.”Oct. 7 also falls during the Jewish High Holy Days .
