Funeral arrangements have been set for a New Orleans activist and matriarch of one of the city’s most iconic political families. Sybil Haydel Morial, the wife of Ernest “Dutch” Morial, the first Black mayor of New Orleans, died at the age of 91 last week. The family has released information for her two-day celebration of life events.
