New Jersey Governor to Joe Biden on Drones: ‘More Questions Than Answers’ [Video]

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, a Democrat, shared a letter on Friday he sent to President Joe Biden that requested more federal resources to investigate unexplained drone sightings in his state.

“The continued reporting of UAS [unmanned aircraft systems] activity has raised more questions than answers and prompted an outcropping of conspiracy theories across social media and other platforms,” Murphy said in the letter dated Thursday, which he shared on X (formerly Twitter).

New Jersey State Police have been getting reports of UAS sightings over New Jersey since November 18, according to Murphy’s letter. While the state has been getting help from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), “it has become apparent that more resources are needed to fully understand what is behind this activity,” Murphy wrote in the letter.
