ROCHESTER, Minn. – Family Service Rochester is spearheading the initiative to strengthen families and is looking to partner with other nonprofits and agencies to offer a wide variety of resources.
The nonprofit said the project is still in the early stages of development but will be opening after securing more partnerships and finalizing additional funding.
It’s located right next to the Gage East Empowerment Center in NW Rochester.
Some of the services the location is hoping to offer includes on-site therapy, case management and support groups and classes for families.
Family Service Rochester said the goal is to reduce child abuse and neglect locally in Olmsted County.
“Family Service Rochester has seen an overall increase in its services. This is one opportunity to centralize services and build some new opportunities to get their needs met,” said Executive Director, Scott Maloney.
