The program will operate with existing classes from three of the university’s colleges.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Bowling Green State University (BGSU) announced the launch of a new degree program Friday, alongside additional campus developments.
New degree program
According to a press release from the university, BGSU will launch a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry degree program. The university said the new program builds upon its current minor program in music industry. Classes in the program will consist of pre-existing courses in the College of Musical Arts, the Schmidhorst College of Business and the College of Arts and Sciences.
The university said the new program is aligned with larger trends of continued growth in the music recording industry, and aims to provide students with a multidisciplinary approach to the subject from the facets of its production and management to communication and marketing.
