For the second time in three weeks, a popular ice cream shop in Kansas City’s River Market has been targeted by a thief.Betty Rae’s Ice Cream said it was robbed late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.The business posted surveillance video of the break-in.”It’s beyond frustrating,” the business said. “This gentleman walked away with our safe full of money earned through the hard, honest work of our team serving sweet scoops to customers on a busy weekend. We want to help find solutions. We want accountability.
