NEIL MCMANUS has called for the return of the Ulster SHC in 2025 – without Antrim.
The Cushendall legend retired from inter-county hurling last summer, and is part of Davy Fitzgerald’s new management team as a performance coach with the Saffrons.
Antrim held their own in the Leinster SHC this summer and will compete in the province again in 2025.
The county won 16 Ulster titles in a row before the competition was abolished in 2017.
Down currently compete in the Joe McDonagh Cup, Derry reached the Christy Ring Cup final and Donegal sealed Nicky Rakcard glory this summer.
