Nebraska Football Defensive Tackle Nash Hutmacher Accepts Invite to Shrine Bowl [Video]

Nebraska football defensive tackle Nash Hutmacher has accepted an invitation to the 100th East-West Shrine Bowl.

The senior Blackshirt announced on social media Tuesday that he will play in the postseason showcase at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Jan. 30. TV coverage will be provided by the NFL Network.

Hutmacher has been a two-year starter the Huskers’ 3-3-5 scheme, starting in all 12 regular-season games this season. He has appeared in 48 total games, including 26 starts in five years. This season, be posted 24 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble.

Hutmacher joins fellow senior defensive lineman Ty Robinson in joining an NFL Draft showcase event. Robinson will play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Feb. 1 in Mobile, Ala.
