National manhunt comes to a close in South Carolina [Video]

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said Nicholas Hamlett, who is wanted for murder in Tennessee, has been captured in South Carolina. The last confirmed sighting of Hamlett was on Halloween night in Chapin, South Carolina.On Sunday afternoon, Nov. 10, Monroe County officials said Hamlett was captured in Columbia, South Carolina.According to the Columbia Police Department, Hamlett was recognized by an employee at a hospital in Columbia. The employee quickly notified police and officers responded.Hamlett’s identity was confirmed with a fingerprint scanner and he is in temporary custody of the United States Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Task Force.
