Guilford County’s Board of Commissioners declared this week National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week at their Nov. 7 board meeting.
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Sunday kicks off National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week in Guilford County, and organizers are doing their part to raise awareness by hosting numerous events aimed at informing the community and helping those suffering from homelessness.
The Guilford County Board of Commissioners declared this week National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week at their Nov. 7 board meeting. The campaign is sponsored by the National Coalition for the Homeless and the National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness.
