NAMI receives Affiliate of the Year Award | Local [Video]

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of West Central Indiana has been named the 2024 Affiliate of the Year at NAMI’s Indiana State Conference.

The award honors an affiliate whose programming helps reach NAMI’s vision.

NAMI’s vision is to create a world where all people impacted by mental illness can live healthy, fulfilling lives, and be supported by a caring community.

The nominations were made by NAMI leaders from around Indiana, while the Board of Directors made the final decisions.

Executive Director, Sheri Moore, was presented with the award at the conference luncheon.

“NAMI West Central Indiana, under the leadership of Sheri Moore, advocates for support, effective treatment, and education for individuals and families affected by mental illness in the Lafayette community and beyond,” said NAMI Indiana Board President, Barbara Thompson.
