RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Naja Shriners debuted their Shriek with Shriner’s haunted house on Oct. 11 to bring a scary good time to Rapid City. The event has been more than two years in the making.
The Shriners visited a chapter in Green Bay Wisconsin when inspiration struck. The Green Bay Shriners organization had a haunted house they had run for over 15 years, and the Naja Shriners decided to bring Halloween fun to Rapid City.
The haunted house tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for kids under 10, although parents should know their child’s limit before attending, and all the money raised goes directly to Shriners Children Hospitals across the nation. Volunteers in the Shriners organization have made the decorations and are scare actors at the haunt.
They’re open Oct. 18-19, and 25-26 from 7 p.m. to midnight to get everyone in the Halloween spirit.
