A SAVVY woman has shared how she covered her ‘ugly’ fence instead of replacing the whole thing.

Susan took to social media to show off her budget-friendly DIY job and it left people stunned.

Fence panels can be costly – averaging around £30 for one according to B&Q so she decided to cover it up instead of replace it.

She said: “I’ve used outdoor rugs on an ugly fence.

“£5 per rug and staple gunned on. Much better, I love it.”

Susan showed off her brand new fence in the garden which had been covered in large plastic black and white zebra print outdoor rugs.

The maximalist rugs added a punch of colour to the very average-looking garden.

The savvy shopper revealed she bought the rugs from the Online Shop adding: “Not much to choose from but happy with what I got.”
