When My Chemical Romance announced plans for a 2025 stadium tour of 10 shows across North America, it set off a frenzy of excitement — after all, MCR is arguably the quintessential band of the “emo”/punk movement of the early to mid-2000s.
And though the band is decades removed from the fertile musical landscape that elevated their theatrical style of alterna-punk to the masses, My Chemical Romance feels as vital now as it ever did.
