WARREN (WWJ) Warren Police are investigating a shootout in the parking lot of McDonald’s. They said, at this point, there are no known victims and “no apparent danger to the public.”
In a press release, Warren Police said they were called to the McDonald’s at Nine Mile and Van Dyke—on Friday around 5 p.m. (10/4)—regarding a shooting. Several callers reached out to dispatch about multiple shots fired in the parking lot. When officers arrived on scene, they found shell casings consistent with a shooting.
Police told WWJ their investigation so far indicates the occupants of a white Chrysler 300 and a silver/grey sedan fired “several shots” at each other inside the fast food restaurant’s parking lot. After the gunfire, both cars drove away from the scene in opposite directions.
