PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Multiple people were arrested and over $2,000 worth of merchandise was recovered during a shoplifting sting the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) conducted.
On Wednesday, several PPB teams partnered to conduct a retail-theft mission in downtown Portland and the Pearl District.

During the mission, PPB made 11 arrests and recovered around $2,428 in stolen products, PPB said.
“PPB recognizes that smaller local businesses are also impacted by retail theft,” PPB said in a press release, “and it is our belief and goal that arresting and holding prolific thieves accountable will help reduce these crimes for the entire business community.”
