SPOKANE, Wash. – Mt. Spokane was bustling with more than just skiing. The mountain celebrated the winter solstice with a variety of prizes and challenges for visitors.
The festivities aren’t over yet. Participants can still join in the fun as the lifts will continue to operate until 9:00 p.m.
In the broader Inland Northwest, other alpine events are in the works. Silver Mountain and Schweitzer are planning Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, which will feature costumes on the hill.
